Newbury Classic car show 22nd of november

I intend to go to this show in november and wondered if anybody who has not put theres cars to bed would be up for joining me as there is a chance for a club stand. This is a good one for the southern contingent as Newbury is toward the eastern end of the M4 corridor. Apparently they are expecting about 300 cars so should be a good day out even if you cant bring your DAF.

Not for us, I'm afraid, Paul - our November trip is already planned as a visit to my parents in Devon (about 750 mile round trip in Betty) and Newbury is a bit of a long detour from there :(

I would love to Paul. I can't commit at the moment as I can't say that she'll be back on the road by then.

Certainly I want to be taking her to shows by the spring time (that's when Dafs come out after all) if not before.

I'll mention it to Matt and Dan as they may be able to make it.

Hi Paul,

I spoke with Matt and he is considering attending the show. Not sure about Dan yet. We would have to come in one Daf though! :(

2 dafs is better than none. Rest assured Gladys will fly the flag or so to speak. If you cant bring your DAF no worries maybe you can make it without one

I suppose i better put some pics up. These where emailed to me this morning which is a bit discorcerting as I hadn't given anyone my email address. Pic show a not very happy me (overturned boat on motorway made me miss most of the show) and the other DOC member who greeted me as I arrived.
