I don't know where the time is going, but we are in June already. This reminds me that we are rapidly approaching our main event/gathering of the year. Sunday 24th June is the annual Princethorpe College Motoring Festival and Summer Fete. This is a free-to-attend event and attracts people with various makes and models of cars. The DAF Owners Club has had a gathering here for many years, and we plan to do so again this year. The location is in lovely Warwickshire countryside at Princethorpe College, Princethorpe, which is near Coventry and Rugby just off the old Fosse Way. Looking forward to the event, hopefully I will have sorted out the fuel starvation issue in time! And we will be there.

im up for this.. but do you all drive there? i honestly couldnt imagine screaming down the motorway in the daf.. i dont think it would make it.
its 150 miles each way.

Oh yes it would! And there will be plenty of advice and help on tap to assist you in the unlikely event of the car having a problem on the way. C'mon, give it a go! From where will you be leaving to travel there? If it's anywhere near me I'm happy to do a convoy!

I hope to be there but at the moment I really don't know if I will be in a DAF. Lets just say that Gremlin is living up to her name and making me a very frustrated daffer!

Hello again, Did you get that Volvo 66? Unfortunately no the owner promised me pictures and despite reminding several times he never sent them. I do have an itch for a 55 or 66 though and would happily swap Gremlin for one. |
