Members will by now have received the December issue of Belting along. This is a relief to me, especially. It nearly didn't make it for Christmas post... For the last few weeks I had been working on and producing the magazine (big thanks to those who contribute - you know who you are) and planned to get it off to the printers in time for it to be ready to be back to send out. However, when the proof arrived, it was obvious that something had gone wrong with my editing and settings etc, and the upshot was that I had to re-type and re-do over half the magazine in the space of a day and a half, to stand a chance of getting to and back from the printers. Fortunately we managed it. However, if anyone has noticed, an error has crept in, but hopefully it won't cause too much upset or confusion. And no, I'm not going to tell you what it is! Merry Christmas and Happy DAFfing New Year. (Meanwhile, it is as quiet as ever now in here, which is a shame)

Richard It was a joy to receive this edition, I look forward to reading it over the break, what you achieve in each edition is nothing short of a miracle.
Happy Christmas to you and all the those that contribute.

Not sure if I’ve missed a subs renewal, I haven’t had a reminder if I have, but my copy of belting along never arrived.

Not sure if I’ve missed a subs renewal, I haven’t had a reminder if I have, but my copy of belting along never arrived. The standard/usual membership runs from April to March. Renewals are usually sent out in or around March. Did you receive other issues in 2018? Best thing to do is to email Steve - he and Maggie look after membership details.

Yes I have had other issues in 2018. I think it probably got lost in the post. If you haven't already done so, please check directly with Steve.

You might be able to directly with your bank using the bank/sort codes provided by the club for when making an online payment. Again it might be worth sending an email to Steve to check.
