The things are popping out of the woodwork. Heres another 33, not as tidy as the last one and in France but might be worth a go?

Holy moly! On a scale of rareness that's the top! A mark 1 Daffodil, nicknamed "the crocodile" by some, because of its front grille, running on white-walled cross-ply tyres, and complete with yellow headlamps! IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT (apart from getting a right hand drive one!) and I love it! It's wearing a Parisian registration, which, if still listed with the French equivalent of the D.V.L.A. will look great. Someone MUST take this one on!

If only there was some spare money I'd be on it like a terrier on a bone.

If anyone is thinking of this, I'm happy to offer assistance in the form of a Subaru Forester, with a tow hitch, a GB sticker, 2 yellow vests (no political implications!) and a pile of breathalyser kits! Oh, and I speak French! Incidentally, Nantes is more west France than northern France in my book..... The route via Portsmouth and a ferry from there seems better than the usual Shuttle!

I am in France and not very far from Nantes, but I have no space in my garage for a second DAF . Yes, this one was registered in Paris (plate ending with 75), way before 1970 (MZ letters). I don't know about the paperwork needed in the UK to register an imported vintage car (I hope for you guys that the Brexit will not be a problem in the future to do that), but it certainly helps to make sure the car comes along with its "carte grise" (grey card = title) provided by the seller. Another helpful document is the "certificat de conformité" that lists all the technical specifications and was signed and stamped by the DAF importer in France (I have it for my DAF 46) that should have been provided to the first owner. It is likely, from the plate, that this Daffodil had only one owner.

Well it's been sold. No surprise there.

Another beauty! And in yellow! Some more pictures would be helpful, though.

The owner wrote he has no other pictures. According to the description, the back window and the exhaust pipe are missing, there is a hole in the boot, a broken tail light, and the ignition doen't work (and probably there are lots of other problems !)
