Whilst in the Norwegian Folk Museum in Lillehamar i noticed a Post delivery van made by Kalmar (who i thought made Forklift trucks) which seems to be a DAF underneath.

You are quite right, the Kalmar is based on a DAF 44 in the main. They were designed for kerbside delivery of goods on the continent so all were RHD to ease driver operation. They are now very rare, especially in the UK (where the RHD comes in very handy). I myself have only once seen one in the flesh in this country.
