Thought I'd post this here just in case any of you guys were in the mood to diversify. There's a 1500 Dolly for sale at the moment in Warwickshire with tax / test to next March: forum.triumphdolomite.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5526You may notice that the thread was started early last year - it's still for sale but won't be much longer thanks to the scrappage scheme The owner is being realistic and asking £750 from anyone who's willing to keep it on the road rather than insisting on the whole scrappage "value" and you can't really blame her for wanting rid after 18 months of advertising it with no takers!

As long as you don't try to rev it like the 1300 (good for around 8000 RPM apparently!) it's a nicely torquey lump. As for the shells, at about 15 quid a set and an easy sump-drop to fit (in the Dollies anyway) you can virtually treat them as a normal 12k service item!

If there was any way in the world I could justify another - especially while still waiting for the outcome of the "hypothetical" - you wouldn't have the chance cos it'd be here by now
