Hi, twice I have written a reply to my post and both times I have been informed that I cannot be connected. There is no problem posting on Essex Dafs. It's very annoying when having written a lengthy post to find it has disappeared, remember I am not a computer expert by any means..........starider

Hi, twice I have written a reply to my post and both times I have been informed that I cannot be connected. There is no problem posting on Essex Dafs. It's very annoying when having written a lengthy post to find it has disappeared, remember I am not a computer expert by any means..........starider I'm sorry to read about the frustration. It seems strange because I think they use the same service that this is - Proboards. I realise that in this day and age, it is a bit clunky compared to other antisocial media sites, but we hang on with it because it is free and also not bombarded with adverts. And as we have said before, at least all the articles stay here. Might it help that instead of clicking on the "Reply" button, strange as it might seem, click on the "Quote" button, which brings up the original comment that you are replying to. That is what I am doing with this at the moment. (You can, if you wish/know how to, delete the original quote if you like - the section between the square brackets that say "quote".

Thanks Richard,
I'll give it a try [ I suppose if this reply posts OK, it may have been a coincidence] Tony
