Hi, anyone know where DAF ignition key blanks are available? If not I'll have a search.

Could do with a spare pair of keys for door and ignition. They are both original Daf, but the ignition key has a plastic top which is a bit wobbly, I would prefer both to be all metal. Numbers on the keys begin with X.... and s...
We seem to have got a bit off topic! Robin, Hows your clutch getting on?

Keys. I'm pretty sure that if you know the numbers, Steve can get replacements. Worth emailing him - he doesn't come on here - mind you, not many other people do either.
And yes - going off topic so I'll start a new thread with this, otherwise things get lost.

I don't know if this would be of assistance...I have a genuine Daf Daffodil/early 33 dashboard ignition switch, with 2 keys. The 3 wires are in place and would connect to the loom where the steering lock otherwise would. The only missing part of the lock is the circular threaded part which secures the lock to the dashboard-I don't know if anyone has one of these. These switches were fitted to Daf Daffodils (type 31 & 32) and to some early 33 vehicles. Some later 33 cars were retro-fitted with a dashboard ignition switch if drivers couldn't manage the steering lock!

Hi, I'm in touch with Steve Biddel so will post his reply if positive. It's good that this thread started,I hadn't got round to realising I only had one set of keys!
