Started on it now ! Its going to take some time, I think its high enough off the floor ? , but a complete secondary is going to be heavy. I will take off both secondarys, then the primary, clean and paint parts to be used again, then reassemble , primary first. Wish me luck!!

How do you remove the drive shaft from a 33 ? Is it by using a slide hammer once the brake backplate is off ? Who offered parts with an 07 number?
More reports of PO ( previous owner) bodges discovered to come!

A slide hammer should do it, or perhaps a three pointed puller working in reverse.

Hi, as Andrew says a slide hammer or remove the drum and back plate complete with brake shoes etc.bolt the brake drum back on the wrong way round and gently tap as near to the centre the brake drum as possible, away from the secondary unit. DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE, If that doesn't work pour a copius amount of very hot water onto the housing where the bearing is housed and re-try. If not it has to be a slide hammer.
