I'm likely taking delivery of a DAF 66 (6626) next week and have started hunting parts that I believe I'll need. So far it's been hard.
I live in Denmark and up until a few weeks ago I had no idea DAF ever produced cars (and to be fair, they stopped doing so before I was born).
In fact not even the guy at the local Volvo and Renault dealership knew that was a thing.
Anyway. Do any of you guys know if there's a place in the EU I can browse spareparts?
At the moment I'm aware of the following faults on the car:
Any input from you smart folks?
ps. I'm not sure if the original engine is in the car. The autohouse listed the car as a 1.1, but according to the internet a 6626 is supposed to be a 1.3. Monday I should know the engine code. Is there any significant difference between a 1.1 and 1.3 with regards to spareparts etc or is it merely a question of piston travel?

At the moment I'm aware of the following faults on the car:
- Leaking from front of the crankshaft - I believe I ordered the correct kit to fix that.
- Rubber covering pieces on the front shocks are in poor shape (not sure what they're called, but manchetter in Danish)
- Battery dead. Someone on this forum posted that a 063 type battery would work, so I can probably get one of those
- Side window behind the left door isn't attached to the B column. I'm guessing there's used to be some piece of metal there, which is now rusted away.
- The hoses from the air intake to the cabin cooler and into the interior are broken. I'm thinking of just stuffing some silicon hoses on instead?
- Exchaust manifold has a minor leak. Not sure if we can weld it yet, but if not I might want to look into a replacement part.
- I was told the gearbox belt would be a smart thing to replace. Haven't driven the car yet though (minor gas leak at the solex), so don't know if that's a thing for now or the future.
