Hi
It is time to renew the insurance for the 66 coupe and I wonder if there is anyone who can point me in the direction of an insurance company/broker with a good and cheap classic car policy. I want to compare the quote of my current insurer with quotes of some other companies and it would be good to have some names. You can email them to pedro@3-c.coop or reply to this message and post them on the forum.
Thanks Pedro de Wit

Well fancy that... I'm also with Footman James and have been for several years.
They seem to like dealing with people who are members of owners clubs.
My 33 is with them and I think it's about £90 this year - and that's unlimited mileage, but kept on drive/in a garage.
Last year, I had to make use of their inclusive breakdown insurance, and it was administered swiftly and efficiently.

I have now used AON Private Clients for several years and have had excellent service. I have not, touch wood, had any claims experience however. I have several cars and motorcycles - all classic - on one policy with acceptable mileage limits and with some of them which are restoration projects on laid up terms. I pay a little over £200. I have added and deleted machines from time to time and have altered their status and value occasionally. All this is achieved without fuss and most efficiently. Customers have personal contact with a client manager. Contact phone number is 01252767141
