My housemates car is refusing to start. The engine is turning over and the battery seems fine. All Ht leads seem to be secure and there is fuel getting to the engine but however it wont start. The car has had a problem recently that it wont tickover with a cold engine but the tickover returns to normal once warm. We are leaving the car for an hour or so incase it is simply flooded. What else should I look for and should I suspect the ECU of being faulty.

Good news found that the main input loom to the ecu was loose and after a bit of cranking it started oh and the slow running issue is sorted.
