Hi folks, I've just re-joined the DOC after a period of about 8 years I think Anyway my volvo 66 has a 1.4 cc engine which should be interesting once its back on the road. Sorry folks but its looks like I was taking too much on with the 66, so I've had to reconsider my plans so I'm buying Onne's 44 instead and Im dead excited.....lol

Grr.
I always get upset when I see Volvo 66's.
The only one I had was nobbled by the DVLA after they said it had been "seen on the road without road tax" when reality would suggest it was actually on my drive. It had flat tyres - it was obvious it was not being driven! OK, it was ropey in places but worth saving, and it was the "four-lights brigade and extra instruments" version, in a nice red with a silver stripe.
Looking back, I wish I'd cut the clamp off and hidden the car, but knowing my luck I'd have been seen by a neighbour and shopped in - and in even bigger trouble! The car was fortunately not registered in my name at the time, or no doubt I'd have ended up with a fine.......
So that's why I say "grrrr!" - makes me wish I'd done more to save it. The thought of all those spares just being crushed makes me sick!
I'll find another one day - I know I will, and I will be happy again, but until then I'll keep cursing!!!
