Wow Ive never gone over 50mph in my 33s.. Haha! Over the years, some friends in the DOC have nicknamed my 33 (something I don't usually do with cars) "The Blue Bullet"... To be fair I rarely push it above 55, but a nice long smooth road and one has to try charging the battery. It does get a tad noisy. It is nippier and faster than my 44 - but that is a lot smoother and quieter. Love 'em both.

I took my Daf 33s out today for a run round and my green Daf seems to be pulling to the left when I put my brakes on.I have found a classic car garage in Grantham, but thinking would it be a good idea to have new belt put on as well?can I by them on here and if so who do I contact..Regards Martyn.

The good news is that the club sells new belts and has them in stock. Also, as a member, you get at a reduced price. When replacing drive belts, you should replace both - hence the belts are sold as pairs. The way to order them is to contact Steve (club secretary - directly - he doesn't use these message boards (mind you, since Fakebook appeared, very few people do anymore, which is a shame - but I'm digressing) His email address is in the magazine but basically it's - dafownersclub(at)bolsover(dot)co(dot)uk (As an aside, I'm not an expert, but the car pulling to the left when applying brakes may well be nothing to do with the drive belts, but it is still a good idea to treat the car to new drive belts)
