Needed a new clutch and exhaust...only one place to go: Graham and DAF Classics in Peterborough. A long day though, 350 miles round trip, 9 hours driving. Car was faultless, cruising at 55-60 mph on the motorways in an old clunker from 1977...lol No problems other than my inability to navigate even with a satnav and that awful A47 just before you get into Peterborough. It took me 45 minutes to go the last couple of miles due to large tailbacks and roadworks. Average fuel consumption was a pretty decent 40 mpg...some brief moments of 'foot to the floor' hooning and I must remember to put the choke back in..doh! Graham's workshop is a treasure trove of DAFness, an absolute heaven for any DAF enthusiasts.
