Well, I found a photo of my dad's 44. As you see, it's Belgian registered and judging on the little chap in front of it, the year must be 1969 or 1970. I was only 2 or 3 then ;D I think the car must be pretty new and I can remember saying goodbye to the car when he part exchanged it for another new DAF a couple of years later. Memories.

Well John, I bet if you grew up with the DAF's that you have been caught out as well. We always used to hate (my brother and I) getting in the back of the car on a very hot day. As we were only little and the sun had been blazing on the rear seat and then to sit on it with shorts on. It was soooooo hot, we could not sit down lol. I do remember that.
