Well done Paul - on both your fab 44 and actually managing to get pics on here. I still struggle to get my head around uploading pics, and I'm supposed to understand these things!! The ones I have got on are more by luck than skill...
Well done again and your 44 must be the oldest one around in the UK as far as I know. I love the early red interiors!

hi
most of my photos are on more by luck but at least they are there. i will try to put better ones on as i get them.
i think mine IS probably the earliest 44 around. i cannot find anyone who knows of another mk1 anywhere in britain at all. i was REALLY lucky to find it.
the interior of the car is lovely. it was seeing this that decided me to save this car. it is just SO CLEAN. the original owner must have really looked after this car. there is only one mark on the drivers seat, a two inch crack in the vinyl. the material behind is fine so it has not opened up but i dont know how to repair this. the rest of the seats / door cards / roof lining / rear side cards are all perfect. i also loved the daf emblem embossed in the centre of the back seat. it just finishes it off.
thanks for looking.

Hi Paul, car looks nice, are you going to get some of those white band tyres like the advert?
i do know of one more like yours in britain and it is in birmingham it is a grey colour, it is owned by george bailey. well he still had it a few years ago and it was mint, i havent seen him for quite along time so you never know!!
mine is looking rough but running great

hi
i would be tempted to get the white band. they do look good.
i am having enough trouble getting the right size tyres though, let alone white banded ones. i dont know what the white tyre paints are like. they may be another option as the white tyres do look good.

Just to add the best way i have found to get photo's up on the site, is to have the daf forum up in one window, then select a new tab, then use photobucket in that tab, click on the img tag on the picture you want to use, it will then say copied, go back to the daf forum and paste the copied selection (right click / paste) onto your mesage and that is it, there is no need to type in img or anything quick and simple!
