:DHi,the conversion is going well, infact it's almost finished,the bodywork is finished and sprayed,the truck looks rather bright in it's original Inferno Red with the wing and body tops in Neona Yellow. Bright you will say, but we thought it would be a good way to advertise our China Matching business.It's back on the road, but I haven't as yet found a suitable donor window to put in the cab back. We are also going to line out the cargo area with ply. As soon as this is complete I will post before and after pictures of UYM. starider

hi there.
there is a windscreen centre by me that will cut flat windscreen glass to whatever pattern you take to them. a flat screen for a my fathers 1954 thames truck only cost £20. a screen could cost more from a breakers.
good luck

well worth checking the windscreen centre. i was amazed at the price. just take a cardboard pattern the right size. they cut the glass for my dads screen while we waited. first class service.
let us know what happens.

;DHi everyone,thanks for all the advice,I took the truck to my local windscreen company and for the sum of £70 they cut and fitted a cab window.I still have one or two little jobs to do including a hard wood capping for the top of the load area,but cannot resist a couple of pictures to whet your appetites. starider
