Wow! Well done for finding the link.
I like all sorts of advertising from the "DAF era" but of course, the DAFs ads and settings are best. They reflect so well the attitudes and facts of the time as well as the products. Groovy!
There is one particular brochure image that I must have a go at scanning one day, which is very politically incorrect for nowadays, but was totally right for the late 1960s. It's from a 44 brochure that shows a very attractive chick out hunting with a shotgun strategically held and perched on the bonnet.
I actually have a blown-up poster sized copy of this on my garden-shed-office wall!!

Sounds very unpolitically correct, may have to get a copy for the garage wall. Most of the posters I have are 70s vauxhall from years age no daf posters yet.

Nothing wrong with that... at all! I'd want to protect my DAF.

Perhaps the gun is for protection when Hubby comes home and finds his newly painted bonnet dented! Or perhaps he isn't quite her Hubby yet but has just spent the honeymoon fund on another Daf. Understandable; maybe he hadn't got a red one and you know how rare they....BANG. Jeremy
