;D ;D ;D Aw shucks, you guys!! Thanks, I'm still hanging onto the right side of 40, by my fingernails!! Unfortunately I've had to work today and having a birthday and working in the square mile = major expense, as here it's customary that the person who's birthday it is buys all of their work colleagues a beer. This year I've been lucky and the tab has stayed in double figures! Oh well, another year for more Daffing! Cheers all, Pete.

Well spotted! Happy Birthday Pete! You may well be getting older, but you'll never catch me up!

Hey Patrick, I make you right there! And Howard, I'll never catch you up, if the size of your fleet is anything to go by, but I am trying to!! ;D

I've just added up - that's 21 vehicles. Ludicrous. Are you SURE you don't want an Allegro??

I would love your Allegro Howard but Mrs. G would kill me! ;D She does put up with a lot and I don't want to find how far I can push her!

I remember '72. Just. And buying things on your birthday - always strikes me as strange that. Surely the people you work with should buy the birthday boy pressies? Same at my place, you have to buy cakes/goodies for those that you have to spend far too much time with at work.

I do agree Richard, birthdays can be expensive, and you look a right meany if you don't tell anyone it's your birthday and offer drinks or cakes etc. You might get away with it the first year, but there's only one person in our team of 15 for whom we don't know when her birthday is, although she is always sucking on a bitter lemon so nobody is that bothered!! ;D Then Mrs. G decides she definately cannot go to her karate lessons tonight as it's my birthday so she's stuck her head into studying for her teaching course. So that leaves me in the garage having an extended dutch moment, much the same as if she had gone in the first place!! ;D Anyway, thanks all.
