Seeing as I am so far from home and may well be on placement this summer I think it would be wise to sell my horse.
She is a 13 year old arab mare and has fairly good breeding and has competed in various endurance riding events. She is currently in foal and again the foal has very good breeding. She is currently costing me £80 a week as I have to employ someone to look after her whilst im at uni. I also feel my career is likely to take me away from the country where keeping a horse is impracticle. She is a lovely sweet natured mare who really needs more attention than I can give her so I hope I can find a loving home for her. I will miss her but this is best all round. If you know anyone who maybe interested please pass the message on. If the home is right then I am not particularily worried about price.
Paul
p.s. I know Joe wants to suprise iliria and buy her another horse ;D

it might help you sell her if you put her height, who is the foal by and what sex is it? what is the stallions breeding? I assume unweaned as yet?
is she crabbet and if so what percentage? Is she broken to ride? when was she last ridden and does she have any competition history? does she work in an outline , know any lateral movements? does she jump? how does she hack if at all?
Also price guidline- taking into account that broodmares don't go for all that much and that she will have to be out of work for at least another year
i can let lots of people know but without the above info i can't say anyone would seriously consider it

Shes 13, 15.2. Broken to ride and has competed in various endurance GB events, she is a fair jumper and has been taken to Pony club camp several times. She was last ridden about 4 months ago just before we decided to put her in foal. Sorry if I confused but she doesn't have a foal at foot. I stupidly cant remember the sires name but he is well known and when i find the paperwork I'll put it on. She is krabbot lines and is pure bred so 100% the foal will also be 100%. The quality of the home she goes to and the sort of life she will lead there is far more important than what I can get for her. No horse of mine will ever be knowingly sold for meat!! Every horse that I have bred and sold has had the new home vetted. If I dont like the conditions I dont care if you offered me £1000000 I wouldn't sell.
Better Iliria
edit to add she hacks alone and in company and will lead a ride if asked. She will do basic lateral movements as she has done some dressage with the previous owner. Unfortunatly I dont know how to do that and have only owned a horse for the fun of riding it.

am i right in thinking she's out of Shahin and Kismana, born 1996?
so when is the foal due? you've lost the covering certificate? comp history meaning has she ever had any placings?

Personally, seeing as Paul's made it clear that dog food isn't an option - which means questions about gravy are out - the only questions i need answered are where do you pump the petrol in and how often for an oil change?
