Getting on steadily with my Daf site at www.dafmobile.ournet.org.uk (blatant plug )and am now in need of tech info to collate on it. In particular I need basic service data (oil type and spec, oil change intervals, plug / points gaps, timing and valve clearances) for the non-aircooled cars. You can see the plan on the Daf 33 tech page on the site - would like to repeat for the other models! If anyone can help with confirmed data it'd be most appreciated. Also, next time you lot are under your bonnets can anyone confirm if the little tuning data sticker on the wheel arch was a general feature across the range?

Thanks for that - slight update done to reflect. Don't suppose you can send the figures off it & exact model info for your car?

hi.
the website is coming together quite well. i am watching with interest.
my 67 mk1 daf44 has the sticker. it is a bit of a mess but still just readable (looks like someone jet washed it).
keep up the good work.

Thanks Paul, and everyone who's confirmed the stickers on their models. The main part of the site is going to be for stuff we do on ours over the coming months but though it would be fun (and possibly useful) to collate what factual "hands-on" info I can at the same time. Plus it gives me a chance to practice my HTML

Hi Spunky M. Delighted to see your 33. I'm pretty sure that is one that I used to own! Drop me a line at marcus.hasted@ukonline.co.uk if you want to know the little of its history that I know. Its very good to know that it is in such good hands.
I'm still a daily Daffer in my 44 estate which is in excellent order. She is used as our shopping basket and tip traveller. She is my only remaining Daf of the six plus two Volvo 66s that I have had up to now.
Presumably you know that Haynes did a manual?
Best regards from Marcus the priest.

Sounds good, Marcus! Email is on its way (watch out for joe@dafmobile.ournet.org.uk). Got a little more onto the site now, including the owners' manual. The Daf Museum archives kindly sent permission so up it goes!
Our scanner decided to play up, so for now it's a gallery of just-about-readable photos but that'll be changed when I can get better copies.
Have also started getting a few pics of what we're doing to it up in the "Our Daf" section. Not all that much yet because it's early days and there really doesn't seem to be too much wrong. Haven't started on the suspension / brakes / steering yet though so I'm keeping my "realistic" hat on and expecting that to change!
