Hi all thanks for the imput. Plugs, points,HT leads Roter arm anddistributer cap are all new. Today fitted inline fuel filter just before pump,reset points they were a bit wide plugs removed and checked looked good. Have been out for a good run and every thing running good. Fingers crossed was just a one off.

Finaly finished rebuild of Sophia's front suspension strut after the damper seized,and new brake hose fitted, brakes blead. Been on supermarket run today seams OK, couple of 25 to 30 mile runs over the next few days just to be sure then 95 miles to Princethorpe on sunday YAY.

Just came back up the motorway from Princethorpe bet it's a long time since people have seen a convoy of three Dafs doing 60 to 65 mph on their travels.

Hi Joe you remarked on the rattle from your heat exchangers at Princethorpe, I hade the same problem on Sophia I have used epoxy puty pushed well into the joint. It has cured the rattle and you can't realy see that it is there. Hope this helps.

Yes you are corect it is the Waverly at Brinsworth. This was the second time I have been, about three times the n.umber of car at this meet. Look at Motornutz fb page to see the fabulus cars that where there.
