Hi all,
On the lookout for some parts for my 44 restoration and wonder if anyone can help? I'm on the lookout for a replacement lower section of the grille from a 44 and a 14" wheel rim - can anyone help?

Hi John I can help out with a 14" wheel with or without tyre, I also have a lower grille not perfect but in good condition. What is your car I am restoring a green 1971 44 at the moment,see my posts under Spidersmart. I have various other spares ,let me know if you need anything I may be able to help. Thanks Mick, really appreciate the quick response and will definetly take the parts off you - how much are you looking for and where abouts are you? As for my 44, it's a 1972 build in Mimosa and has been bought off a club member nod has appeared on here and on the Essex Daf's website. It's the first Daf I've owned (it's being delivered Saturday) and I wanted to make sure that everything needed is obtained for a fast track resto and paint job - these parts will be a great help.

Hi John I am in south yorkshire .I read your post on Essex Daf site my wheels are for the latter car with black hubcaps hope this is ok, if so do you want with or without tyre. Mick.

The later black hubcaps version would still be great and if I can have one with a tyre that would be even better! Would defiently take the grille off your hands and wondered what you would want for them both?
Distance wise, I'm on the Isle of Wight and wondered if you would be happy for me to arrange a courier to pick up the parts?

John a courier would be no problem just give me plenty of notice of when and how to pack them. What do you think of £50 for wheel good tyre and the grille, hope this is OK. Mick

Hi John wheel and tyre is 22"x 7" the tyre is a good Michelin 135 sr 14 zx. The grill is 45"x8"x5" ,but is not in as good a condition as thought, there are a few cracks in it. If you still want it give me £35 for the wheel and tyre you can have the grill, it should be OK untill a better one turns up. Mick
