After too long a break, I'm back on the DAF scene with a new workshop and plenty of enthusiasm! I've far too many that just need putting back together - none are road-legal at the moment (but will be soon if all is well!).

The Volvo is a source of bits for the others as it's a tad rotten, but the rest are very much do-able. Most are in very good condition! I will post photos soon if anyone is interested (and of course rejoining the club!). Good luck and best wishes to all!

Guilty as charged, John! THANK YOU!!!! I've been driving about (on private land) on the other 32LE this week and all appears to be well. Despite mockery from some people I think they were quite surprised by how nicely it ran and how quiet it was. I've taken the seats and carpets out of the other one as it needs a tiny bit of welding and I'm not going to take any risks scorching anything that can be scorched! The seats on the 32's look big heavy but you can easily carry them on one finger (as proved to the very same doubting Thomases!) - and pushing the whole car is quite simple just by leaning on it, or grabbing a wheel and pushing it round (don't forget to take the handbrake off!).
They might not be the best car money could ever buy but I know that I will always think the world of mine - for the amount of time they've left a smile on my face I think thats the true indication of value for money! ;D I've had a so much fun in them, and I know I've turned a good few people around into liking them (often begrudgingly!).
And as I've now got the incentive and enthiusiasm (as well as a lovely big workshop!) things will happen at last! Roll on the good weather!
