It's been a little while since I got the 44 out, so as it had been such a cold night last night, and lovely and bright this morning, I thought I should check.

After quite a few of the typical 6 volt very slow starting turns, it started.

Then it went for a little trundle around.

Well, you have to charge the battery up somehow, when you have a garage with no access to power!

In case you are wondering, the front panel is OK - it looks a bit strange in the photo, but that is down to a light reflection.
