Just got this months Belting Along, and have read Pauls interesting article, including the "barrel" type fuses used in the Daf, and other European cars of the same era. The fuses in my 33 and all other makes I have seen are made of ceramic, so will not overheat like Pauls picture. I have never seen plastic fuses like that. That one at least cannot be an original, what are the others like?
