Hi all! Hope everyone is well and in good health and spirit during this virus pandemic. I was hoping to get to a few shows and meets this summer and meet you fellow Daffers...unfortunately that now looks unlikely due to this nasty virus. I have been tinkering with the 66. Just a few small bits and bobs. I noticed that the rubbers on the end of the shock absorbers are looking a bit crusty! Can anyone point me in the right direction as to obtaining some? Just had a look at Daf Hobby in Holland but not sure what it is I need exactly...I don't even know what they are called! Shock absorber mounts? Anyway, if anyone can help in finding a supply, please let me know. Cheers

Hi, they do seem quite bad,a suggestion. support the spring and remove the two nuts, take off the the large shaped washer and bottom rubber, measure the rubber and have a look on ebay. This type of rubber "bush" is used on hundreds of vehicles the only difference being the size.

Hi,if you can't find any rubbers, publish the sizes on this board and I'm sure someone will find some in their spares boxes.

Thanks Starider yes, they look in bad shape...perished. To be expected on such an old car. I will take them off and do as you suggest. Thanks for your reply.
