Just taken a ride out in our "djere ol' Devon", called into Ilfracombe and it was heaving,no social distancing, few signs of face masks, restaurants crammed full. all B & B's "No Vacancies" etc.etc. I recon Devon must be full: so get yourselves ready for a big spike. Next weekend[Bank Holiday], will be even worse. Folks appear to have ignored the warning not to come into Devon and Cornwall unless booked in somewhere. My Grandaughters boy friend came back from Croacia last weekend with several mates and all now have the virus including one of the Mums who collected them from the airport. How can these people be so thoughtless and selfish. I worry that the present "young generation" are such "takers", so irresponsible, self centred and have little respect for others. It's a " Me Me Me Me" culture! Sorry to rant.

I share your worry. Cases are growing in my part of the country, which is not even exactly a tourist hotspot.
There are a lot of people, not all young, who despite everything, seem oblivious. These people rarely watch, read or listen to news, for example, or it they do, tend to think that it's "all someone else's problem". Many of them are the ones who if they read anything, it's (anti) social media - where everything must be correct, if it's on there.
Then if/when they get the virus, it will be everyone else's fault, especially the government's. Ironically, I imagine a lot of these people would have been the ones joining in the craze for clapping and cheering the NHS a few months ago - without really thinking.
Oh well.
