I know that Mini brake shoes will fit a 33, but how about the wheel cylinders? Would they fit a 33, I'm sure I read somewhere that somebody fitted some. Would anybody know?

I know John, I think I might get them. Could always buy a Mini if they don't fit on my DAF lol.

hi.
from what i remember from my mini days- if you fit a smaller bore wheel cylinder you may notice that you dont have to push the brake pedal as far, but you may have to use a touch more pressure. that is if you get any noticable difference at all.
as long as you have the same bore on both sides it doesnt matter whether it is the larger or smaller bore.
hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I will get them and then see if they are the same. If not, well it's only a tenner.

hi.
it should matter but the difference is so slight it doesnt affect driving or braking. doesnt even show on a rolling road for mot. it was my mot examiner who told me to do it on my first mini when i was stuck.
