Welcome to the DAF Owners Club discussion forums. These have been online since 2004 and are open to anyone - club member or not.
The DAF Owners Club has been the original and leading source of information about DAF Variomatic cars in the UK since 1980.
We are known throughout this country and abroad for providing accurate and relevant help and advice about DAFs and the Variomatic transmission.
We also provide new specialist spares including drive belts and filters and we supply to the UK and worldwide.
More information about DAFs and the club at the main website - www.dafownersclub.co.uk.
Have taken the plunge, having been fed up with not being able to have what is a normal holiday, we went out and have purchased a camper,it is an import with a new conversion. The model is a Toyota Alphard auto. It will mean we will be able to attend DAF Owners events way distant from "down yer in dear ole Devon", and meet up with some of you guys!!
No, my wife is church organist at 3 different church's, so unless she can arrange stand 'ins' well in advance, it's difficult, but good luck with the Duxford meet. Used to go there a lot when I drove coaches. As my school was very close to Duxford ,I often took groups.
Used the Toyota a few times for days out and what a joy to have an automatic again,so relaxing in busy traffic. Have booked a few nights away next month. Keep turning the wipers on to turn left or right sometimes, but will get my mind into gear when I start using the van!.
