Hi, Just a reminder, if you are not using your Daf at the moment it is a good idea to chock your wheels and release your handbrake, especially if you Daf is parked outside. It will prevent the brakes jambing/corroding on. It's also a good practice to run the engine for a while occasionally.

I must admit that I rarely use the handbrake if my 33 is parked in level ground, as when it's parked on full lock the lack of differential effectively "locks" the rear wheels. This effect, coupled with the drag of the Variomatic keeps it fairly secure.

The same applies to any vehicle, including a trailer.
