Hi again everyone. We spoke many moons ago about my 1971 DAF 33 that I am bringing back from the edge. She is now running again nicely and I have had much help from my Father-in-law to weld up the the front wing tops that were theoretical only. Two more patches on the rear left to go and she’s a goer. My final issue remains the column ignition switch barrel which is toast. I have managed to extract the barrel despite the grub screw being snapped off. People were kind enough to offer parts advice and guidance in the past and with the passing years I have lost track of what they said. Does anyone have an ignition barrel, with or without key? Someone even said that they could cut the key from the lock number. I have the switch and it appears to work fine with a screwdriver. I am very excited about the possibility of meeting up with other owners now that things are getting a little more normal! Robin
