Hello. On my 33 the vaccum brake switch (later version: round green push button) doesn't remain in "off". So i stuck it with a small piece of cardboard to prevent pop-up. Not a good solution.. Is it serviceable? It's quite impossible to find this type of switch but i've sourced an older "pull switch" version. I ignore if it will fit my car. Thank you! (and sorry about my English)

The switches do occasionally fail and your solution might be a temporary answer, but NOT a long solution, because if your piece of cardboard falls out your 33 will instantly go into "low" ratio, which will damage the transmission if the car is going faster than 50 Km/h (30 MPH in English) at the time. The pull switch fitted to earlier 33 cars will NOT work in your car, as the connections are different.
I've changed the low hold switch in my 33, as I had the same problem. You have to dismantle the centre panel of the dashboard and it helps if you disconnect the heater wires at the heat exchangers first, as they'll make removing this panel harder. I took the opportunity to lubricate the heater cables at the same time, using 3 in 1 light oil.
If you need a new one please message me through this Forum and I should be able to help. Is your 33 a 6 or a 12 volt one?

So i have changed the switch with a good used one from DafHobby but after dismantling the older one it only needed a drop of grease! Another part in my precious stock! I took this occasion for a short winter drive (-2°C today): everything is okay with a surprinsingly good heater and clear screen. Love this car

The heaters are, indeed, remarkably good, although the heat depends on the engine's speed! If the temperature's below 5 deg. C you ought to fit the shield in front of the engine, to prevent it from running too cool. This makes the heater even stronger! My 33 has been nipping around North London today, and ran out of petrol! I always carry 5 litres in a spare can-just as well!

The Frozen Princess (with its winter screen fitted!). I'have been lucky to buy this car complete with screen, jack, crank and even its warranty certificate (6 months in 1973 ) but it is still running after 50 years. I guess my daily KIA won't last that long even with 7 years warranty!
