I am building four 1/10 scale models of my Austin Seven Special. I built the car in the early 70s and decided several months ago that I would build 4 models of it, one for me and one for each of my sisters. I designed the model using Designspark mechanical and printed out the parts using both a resin printer, for the fine detailed parts, and an fdm printer for the rest. The body on my real A7 is a two seater boat-tail made with sheets of ply and varnished. I will try to add some pictures if I can. The paintwork, the bonnet and four wings, I painted with DAF Marina blue. I would like to paint the models with the same paint if I can. I won't need much! If I can't get the DAF colour I will try a close match. Any suggestions?

That's instriguing and different!
As an owner of a Marina Blue DAF, I can confirm that you can get the correct shade of paint made up. Any specialist bodyshop/paint supplier will have the necessary codes from very comprehensive lists and records.
A few years ago I had some paintwork done on my DAF and the new paint was exactly the right shade.
Thanks Richard. I have a car paint supplier near me but the members of my local model makers club don't think he's very good. I will pop down to see him and ask what he can do. I want a paint I can spray with a small airbrush. I could also try Halfords, but it would be awkward to decant the paint from the spraycan.
One of my sisters had a DAF similar to yours, her next car was an Alfa Romeo 2.6 ltr Guilia sprint.
