Hello fellow DAF owners. Does anyone know where one can source a rear number plate light for a DAF66? Or a matching pair? The one on the car says "Hella E1 12928" on the lens cover, the other one is missing and I've had no joy finding any alternatives that fit.
Also, in the March edition of Belting Along there's an article about a DAF which appears to have 3 stud minilites fitted - does anyone know if these are available "off the shelf" with the correct PCD or do they need to be modified for a DAF66? Are there indeed ANY "bolt on and go" 3 stud alloys that would fit that might be readily available?
Hope someone can help. Beginning to realise just how thin on the ground spares are for these little wonders. The owners club intro letter suggested they carried a number of parts, but I can't find a link to any kind of catalogue - am I being blind or is it case of just emailing what you want and they'll tell you if it's available?

Hello, Very pleased to see that you refer to "Belting along" - you must be a member! Best thing to do for spares queries, is to email our founder and Club secretary, Steve Bidwell - contact details are on page 2 of the magazine. He has a huge amount of spares old and new - he doesn't do social media or advertise them. The Club can basically help you with pretty much any essential spare that you need one way or another. The Minilite wheels - yes, aren't they good! Yes, Mimilite make them ready with the correct stud holes for DAFs. You can probably buy them directly from Minilite in this country. For your interest though, the popular DAF Hobby suppliers in the Netherlands (who we know and work with) also sell them and they are advertised on their website - dafhobby.com/product/minilite-velgenset-60x13-zilver/This will give you an idea of price. Hope this helps. Richard

Hello there. My car has Minilite alloys. Yes they are a direct fit, and mine (from Dafhobby) also came with nice bolts iirc. They are period correct I suppose, lots of cars had them in the 70s.
