what about fibre glass wings? i had a set fitted to my volvo 66gl and they looked ok, this chap claims to have some but for which model? www.smithanddeakin.co.uk/A-E.htmi would fit them to the 44 when i can afford them!! Paul

Mmmm, new panels would be nice - but if I had welding facilities to attach them at the moment I'd be throwing the filler away and putting new metal into the existing ones

as i can remember they were pop rivited on, when the wing is removed there are plenty of falt surfaces to rivet them to, it was a last resort to fit the wings but they were so bad there was no point doing anything other, i was pleased with the finished product but they didnt put quite enough paint on them so they looked dull er than the rest of the body
like rich said it may have been a good idea to have welded a strengthener in but it seemed ok,
the front wings on my pug 307 are plastic! almost as thick as a fabric conditioner bottle!
