Can someone help, please?
I have taken the exhaust heat exchangers off the engine. The joints between the exhaust pipe and the cylinder head were three cornered joints with a hole for each of the three studs.
The lefthand heat exchanger had to be replaced and I got one in fair condition from Danny.
This came with a copper "O" ring already in situ on the spigot.
Now the questions are: Should it be the three cornered joint? Should it be the copper ring?
Or perhaps it doesn't matter anyway!
Regards,
Pete.
