To our Daf (With apologies to Elizabeth Browning)... Why do I love thee? Let me count the reasons. I love thee for thy depth and breadth and height That let me park, in gaps so small and tight, Instead of hunting an ideal space. I love thee for thy level of everyday Economy, in fuel and running costs. I love thee even, as cars pass my right, I love thee fully as they turn and wave. Ok, with the bad plagiarism out the way (I couldn't come up with anything that fitted the last few lines ), I thought it might be fun to ask you guys why you love your Dafs so much. I'm not gonna make it too easy - by stealing the ones that Wall Street might appreciate before you get started...... 1) So far, looks like that 2 pot will be returning around 40 - 45mpg 2) Total cost of a routine service (DIY style) about £17.50 3) Total cost of road tax £0.00 4) Fully comp insurance, without using No Claims bonus, £78 per year flat rate, including a new licence holder! 5) The looks you get when you wind the bands up on a dual carriageway and actually have the nerve to overtake someone in it - it's not only the brokers who take risks ;D Now, over to the floor.....

It could be down to the smile on your face as you drive around or the people that come up to you and say " aint seen one of them since my uncle or Auntie had one". Or the pleasure you get from an old timer who owned one and sit's in the seat after 20 or so years, Magic!! We are the proud owners of history and many happy events. What a great privalidge we have and look after.
Regards Bob
