Thinking the same thing Richard. Hope you and the car are well, the green machine this end is still flying about, when the sun is out and the roads are dry. I HAVE A WARNING TO ALL DAF 33 OWNERS, IF YOU STRIP YOUR CARBURETTER DOWN ON THE ENGINE, STUFF SOME RAGS AT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE, ABOVE THE CLUTCH HOUSING. AS YOU CAN GUESS I DID NOT, AND *^#$S I DROPPED THE MIXTURE SCREW, IT WAS CHANNELED NICELY DOWN THE BACK OF THE CLUTCH HOUSING STRAIGHT INTO THE PROP SHAFT TUNNEL. The air turned all different colours blue!!!!!! Lucky I managed to get a spare one, or I might have been pulling the engine out now. Wonderfull pastime these old cars. Roll on Summer and the first meeting, see you all then.
Regards Bob.

Good to see your message, Bob. And I know all about carb stripdowns on a 33 - not that I did it myself of course!
I've had the Blue Bullet out a couple of times in the last few weeks. I think it is getting ready for some new shock absorbers, as it seemed a tad "bouncy", especially round the bends...
Anyway, we'll see.
Don't forget the first "event" will actually be in Spring, on 23rd April - the AGM, but we are also encouraging a bit of a DAF autojumble...
