You may remember the little moment I had last year when, in another moment of going against my "one DAF/old car at a time policy", I acquired a rather nice Volvo 340 Variomatic. Well, following the fitting of its new clutch and drive belts, and its appearance at the Peak District event, it has now had the minor bits of rust seen to - there wasn't a lot but I wanted to nip it in the bud - mainly wheel arches and the edges of the door bottoms. Also, it was bubbling under the windscreen corners, so they took the screen out (without breaking it!) to repair. I got the car back yesterday and on the way home, took some quick pics... Oh yes, it has "new" wheels and brand new tyres too. Oh dear, what have I gorn and done?!!! And, do you think Bjorn (although that is a Swedish name) is suitable? Open to other suggestions. i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn214/dafcars/Voldaf1.jpgi305.photobucket.com/albums/nn214/dafcars/Voldaf3.jpgi305.photobucket.com/albums/nn214/dafcars/Voldaf5.jpg

Aha. Well knowing me knowing you...
Thanks for your comments chaps. I have to admit that i really do rather like it. But be assured that the Blue Bullet is still very high in my affection too. Both are super troupers.
It's the name of the game.

Mama Mia... You can be assured that there is no Pierce singing here. I might be one of just a handful of people who dare to admit that I think the only people who should sing Abba songs are Abba, and not a group of current/past actors who frankly, in my humble opinion, seemed to succeed in ruining them.
Actually, other people allowed to sing them are people like us in the privacy of the car or house! What a shame there is no radio, tape or CD in Bjorn.
