hi John, thanks for the compliment, to be honest the paint job is not 100% perfect as it looks on the pics, theres a couple of dents i should have took out (there were dozens of small dents! ), and i didn't do the roof , i might do it when i get the time but 2 pack paint is a real messy paint to work with (the whole garage was red and still is! ). what really makes me happy is knowing that other than a little surface rust on the roof there is none at all anywhere on the car . Best wishes, Eric.

The little car looks marvellous. And that little twisty exhaust tailpipe is magic!
Well done!

Don't often follw gallery links cos we're on a slow connection here but made an exception with this cos I remembered you getting it about the time we got Betty. That's an absolutely gorgeous job and the colour is making me drool (though Sian still prefers white so that's ok ;D )

oh well i might still be the only one, even if theres two its still rare as hens teeth i've always found it strange how some people have more than say two old classics, one to use and one for fun and shows etc but any more than that and looking after them to me is too time consuming i have read on the forum that some have crazy number of cars etc. i've had about 70 cars (and the same a 8-)mount of motorbikes) but never more than 2 at the same time. actually thinking about it my wife probably keeps me in check best wishes, Eric.

That's where I luck in - Sian actually prefers these cars so if I said I wanted a stableful she'd be helping me find a way to manage it ;D Must admit, with the two Dafs & the Triumph I'm finding it hard to get everything they need done but the more I finish the less needs doing, and the routine servicing is pretty minor, so I'll catch up in the end ....
