Well i have been collecting parts for the engine over the last couple of days, h ope the Baby comes soon it is to expensive staying at home buying things. first the engine, Renault K7M 1.6 over head cam 8v engine with 61000miles on the clock £75.00 then we needed some sparks so got this, 1.2 renault clio Dizzy £0.99 and then some fuel so added these to the list of things CBR600 carbs good for about 120bhp. £0.00 yes FREE That means with the Volvo Vario fly wheel I can bolt it all togeather. Volvo fly wheel fits the crank, daf bell housing fits the block. sounds easy when you put it like that.

Big change of plan for this car after seeing how rusty it is SO Stripped rest of running gear then started cutting ;mexwave: photos come out a little dark in the garage. Hope to do a bit more over the weekend. Pete the running gear is ready for colection when you are ready you will need something alot bigger than a volvo 66 estate if you are collecting all the 66 parts ofF me and Paul

I do like a bit of destruction now and then - you really can't beat a little mindless violence against inanimate object to feel like you've achieved something ;D

That sill rot did look pretty extensive. Although worryingly in general it looked a lot more solid than my last project

Sill rot was only the start, even the inner sills had filler in them, the pasenger side has a plate stuck on with filler

Well at least it will save others. At first glance it looked quite tidy. Although last time I saw it over a year back looking a little closer showed a fair amount of rot. More time to work on the Pony and the BMW.
talking of ponys is it home yet and if so WE WANT PICCIES ;D

Well that is good news another DAF to be rescued. Maybe if you could get her down to the next weekender either mine or Petes. We could attack with several welders and people.
